A Reminder: To Be"with a vision painted outside the lines of over-regulated cadence and rhyme"
To dance to the beat of
one's own drum, to not be guided by convention or expectations, to be willing to establish a new norm."fearless in writing against the grain of convention"
To not allow fear to guide our decisions. Whether through news media, over-protective parents, governments and religious
leaders, we are often "managed" and controlled by fear."for this very friction is a sandpaper...smoothing your raw, unfiltered passion into a timeless chair"
The zone of discomfort between two incongruent or incompatible surfaces, beliefs or energies can be an area for discovery, enlightenment and growth, if we only work through it with a generous spirit.
"where sighs of enlightenment will pass through"
If we live our lives today as though we were reviewing our actions 100 years hence, i.e. living our legacy - bringing 20:20 to now, not only to hindsight.
"If you feel yourself being sucked down by the undertow of homogenization, fight against the current"
Globalization does not need to equal homogenization. And yet how easily so many people can be convinced to divest themselves of their cultural heritage and their own norms, to follow foreign trends and fashions under the banner of progress, in the name of "development" or as part of "education". By whose standard should we define "poverty" and "wealth", "developed" and "under-developed", or "needs"?

"a runway for you to take-off from...lifting above carbon-copy complacency"
There are examples the world over of people who have chosen not to be carbon copies of others, but to be authentic to their own spirit and the world within which they live, "fighting against the current" and "writing against the grain of convention". And the world is a better place for them.
"To always be the freedom that manifests your luminous originality."
It's not easy to be original, but the greatest movements, the most valuable innovations and the most important changes were seldom, if ever, initiated by conformists, conventionalists or puppets.
